Less than a year and a half ago, Charlie Crist campaigned for Governor by attacking Democrat Jim Davis for missing votes in Congress. Crist spent millions of dollars on those infamous "Empty Chair" television ads and used that line of attack at every opportunity. At the October 24th debate that year, Crist slammed former Congressman Davis, saying, "Jim, as you know, you can't govern from an empty chair." In the same breath, Crist vowed: "I'll come to work every day." What a difference 16 months (and a shot at being VP) make.
